KvinnSam Launches New Website — A Great Resource to Share Across the ELENOR Network

We’re happy to share that KvinnSam, Sweden’s National Resource Library for Gender Research and a valued part of the ELENOR network, has launched a new website:

The site makes it easier to access KvinnSam’s rich collections, archives, databases, and digital tools — a valuable resource for researchers, students, and anyone interested in gender research and women’s history.

Among its many offerings is the KVINNSAM database, the largest interdisciplinary reference database in the Nordic region focused on Swedish and international gender research and women’s history.

The new website also highlights KvinnSam’s unique archive of feminist movements through thematic pathways. With over 600 shelf metres of material, it documents struggles from the late 19th century to second-wave feminism and today — making it the only women’s and gender history archive of its kind in Sweden.

Within the ELENOR network, sharing resources like these is part of how we support one another’s work — and how we keep feminist memory in action.

Sharing is caring. Feel free to pass it on.
