We are here.
We remember.
We share.
We build — together.
We are ELENOR: a European network of women’s, feminist, and LGBTQIA+ memory institutions and communities — including libraries, archives, information and documentation centres, museums, memorial sites, university units, collectives, and individuals. We connect across borders, generations, and languages to share knowledge, practices, and experiences and to support one another in preserving and activating
emancipatory history.

We believe that women’s, feminist, lesbian, queer, intersex, trans, and intersectional knowledge and memory practices are essential to democratic culture and social transformation. We practice feminist values through the ways we document, organise, and share knowledge — openly, carefully, and in solidarity. We challenge dominant, androcentric systems of knowledge and remembrance by holding space for multiple perspectives — not as an exception, but as a foundation of pluralistic, democratic memory cultures.
We invite institutions, initiatives, collectives, and individuals to become part of ELENOR — to strengthen, connect, and expand women’s, feminist, and LGBTQIA+ memory cultures together.
We are ELENOR – feminist memory in action.
We make space for women’s, feminist, and LGBTQIA+ heritage and knowledge, now and for the future.
